Best Delicacy 2015

CHICHARON SA CARCAR. Chicharon or the pork crackling in Carcar bested four other nominees for the best delicacy, getting 64 percent of the votes.

Second to chicharon is bibingka of Mandaue with 27 percent, followed by masi of Liloan, torta of Dalaguete and masareal of Mandaue.

Chicharon, whether the pure pork skin or the one with traces of meat, comes perfect with vinegar.
