ICHIRIKI CHAYA. Ichiriki Chaya first came on the Best of Cebu list astride its Bashashi or horse sashimi as the Best Exotic Dish back then. Beyond the novelty of the unusual if not suggestively taboo dish, there is no denying how good the rest of their authentic menu items are. Prepared and served to the exacting standards the Japanese are known for, flavors and textures are carefully balanced as these are also carefully plated. Interior thematics and expert service complete the experience. Given those, it looks like Ichiriki — one strength — has more than just one and they are back on the list, this time, as a collective whole.
