Lambug Beach in the town of Badian will completely change your concept of a public beach. Getting to this secluded beach a hundred kilometers from Cebu City means a few hours of travel, but that’s part of Lambug’s appeal.
What greets you at the end of some rough, narrow roads are crystal clear, calm waters that mirror the sky and long stretch of pristine, white sand beach.
If you’re lucky, you could even have the beach all to yourself. To get to Lambug, you can always use a GPS map, but don’t bet on it.
You wouldn’t go wrong, though, asking some folks for directions at Badian’s public market.
